June 12, 2022, marks the opening session of the 12th Ministerial Conference (“MC12”) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute (IDRRMI), is privileged to be a WTO accredited Non-Governmental Organisations to attend MC12. Prof. Dr. Francis Law, Chairman; Dr. Alfred Chan, Vice-Chairman; Ms. Amy Wong, Honoury Secretary, Dr. Jimmy Ma, IAMP & FCIArb of IDRRMI will be attending the 4-day meetings virtually to witness the discussion on the topics including the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (“TRIPS”) waiver for COVID-19 vaccines, pandemic response, the trade and food security, fisheries subsidies, agriculture, the E-Commerce work programme and moratorium, the decision on World Food Programme and the WTO’s reform. We convey our heartfelt wish for the great success of the 12th Ministerial Conference.
