Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) is the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skill, and the development of personal qualities necessary for the execution of professional duties. On the other hand, one of the objectives of International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute is to maintain and enhance the professional standard and quality of services of different Dispute Resolution Experts.
Therefore, IDRRMI has adopted the Continuing Professional Development Policy with an aim to encourage Dispute Resolution Experts to continue professional training in skills and knowledge relevant and applicable in mediation practice. Dispute Resolution Experts are asked to meet minimum CPD requirements in order to be eligible for renewal of their qualification as IDRRMI Dispute Resolution Experts.
