One of the objectives of International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute is to set professional standards for mediators and mediation advocates. Therefore, IDRRMI establishes professional mediation accreditation mechanism in China and regularly holds Professional Mediator Accreditation Assessments, testifying candidate’s professional standard as a mediator. In the Accreditation Assessment, trained senior mediators will be assessors. Candidates are required to pass the assessment in order to obtain the relevant qualification.
